Fiber Clay Lightweight 19" Dia Birdbath Top, Hunter Green

†have a ceramic bird bath that, for reasons unknown, developed nearly invisible cracks in the bowl. The water kept draining away. I found this bowl online and decided to give it a shot. I just placed it into the empty bowl of my existing bird bath (which is actually a deep cobalt blue). It works great! No more leaks, the bowl stays full and the birds have a place to bathe and drink. Interestingly, even though this bowl is a deep hunter green, it blends with the color of the bird bath base so well that - from more than a few feet away - you can't tell that it's really a different color. I ended up getting a second one for a bird bath that I was going to send to the junk pile.

This fit perfectly on the concrete stand I have. It's lightweight so very easy to dump out and clean up. I did put it under cover during our recent snow storm to protect it, but will put it back out again for the birds today. They love it.

This is a very nice birdbath. We do mistreat it as we use it Year round. It can crack, but we always order several. It is certainly our fault that it cracks!! It really is a very great top! Plus, it does not weigh a ton, so I can handle it to clean easily!!

I purchased this thinking it would look like the picture, it is much darker in color, almost black. Very very light weight. I had to carve the seem off the bottom of the bowl so that it would fit my base. It was very easy to do. I wouldnít purchase this item again though.

Not much to say, but was as expected from the listing description. Not their fault that the birds and squirrels don't come to that area anymore... But it's a nice bowl that can be used for other decorative things as well.
