Over the years I've gone through a lot of cheap trowels. This is not one of them. This is a well made gardening tool that gets a lot of use and while it *may* eventually need a replacement (wooden) handle, the blade and shank will last a lifetime. I have a welding and metal fabrication background so I know the real deal when I see it. As much as this tool cost, it was worth every penny!

Seems like a solid tool, but it has a big glob of epoxy dried on the handle. Itís easy to remove excess epoxy while itís still drying, but Iíll have to scrape and sand it off now to make the tool comfortable to use. Not excited about having to fix a tool before I can use it.

In my opinion, unarguably one of the best garden trowels in term of quality and material durability. This is a garden tool that I have brought over and over throughout the years due to bending/breakage. After doing an intensive internet search, I caved in on paying an exorbitant price in hope of this being the last trowel I will purchase due to breakage. I would have given 5 stars, but like I said, its price point is a negative. The only concern that I have is will the handle connection to the shaft hold up over the years. Both the metal and wood materials appear to be excellent quality. If properly stored after each use, I think this trowel will last a lifetime.

I am a welder, tool collector, and avid gardener. This is the best-made trowel I've ever seen and I am sure it will outlive me. The blade is beefy and nicely formed. The tang is laser cut, 1/4" steel, nicely welded on. Nothing special about the handle, but it feels nice in the hand. My collection of garden tools needs more from Dewit.

I love this trowel, I have already used it a bunch and can tell it is of great quality and design. It is super strong and should last me a lifetime. Definitely better than the junk plastic ones.
