Purchased 11/2021: I will begin using this tool for the 2022 gardening season. I am not able to completely rate it because I have not used it yet. This rating is based on quality materials used and heavy duty construction. Looking forward to using it next spring.
Works great! I canít believe I waited so long to get one of these. I use it for dividing plants and itís largely replaced my hand trowel for planting! The handle is a great length!
This is one of the best gardening tools I own. My hands struggle with the angle of a trowel and I usually use my large shovel. This is perfect for working the soil in a small area and getting down into the dirt.
I'd been looking for something to replace a "Swedish" trowel I had several years ago. This fits the bill. It makes everything easier in the garden. It's the only tool I need for planting, weeding, digging, etc.
I am a long time fan of DeWit gardening tools. This is not among my favorites. It feels just a little awkward as I use it for planting. I find I go back to my hand spork most of the time. I do like the shape of the blade, and perhaps over time I will become more skilled in using it---especially knowing it is going to be in my gardener's tool kit for a long, long time. I am always awed at the quality of the wood and of the metals in DeWit's tool.
