What are Hemp pots?
Haxnicks' range of hemp pots are made from sustainable hemp fiber and stitched with cotton. They are plastic-free and fully biodegradable and home compostable after use.
Hemp is purported to be the strongest natural fiber in the world and is one of the fastest growing plants making it truly sustainable. It was one of the first plants to be spun into usable fiber 50,000 years ago but had fallen out of favor due to the rise of plastics.

Fruits, vegetables, herbs and plants can all be grown in hemp pots and planters
Where can I use them?
The pots can be used in the garden or greenhouse or could even be planted into the ground to grow there without disturbing the roots.
What's so special about them?
The pots are biodegradable and home compostable, leaving no residue if buried.It is perfect for the current desire to get back to natural fabrics.
Hemp pots and planters offer excellent drainage and allow oxygen to reach the roots which is hugely beneficial to the plants.
